Getting Lost in Winter’s Beauty
February 9, 2009The past few days I’ve been giving my camera a work out (it’s the Canon Rebel EOS xsi I received for Christmas). Since this is my first DSLR camera, I’ve been amazed at the quality and clarity of my images. Not only that, but changing lenses is fun! Today I had a lot of fun with the zoom lens. Next on the “get-to-know-your-camera” agenda is tripod training. But I thought I would share some images from my shoots–some are before the big snow melt and some are after so there will be varying degrees of snow on the ground.

great first excusions into the joy of photography. heck, you could do just fine with an instamatic. it’s in the eye, not the camera. you have the eye.
Haha…don’t worry. I keep my point and shoot with me at all times, Dirk. I’ll be posting some pics tomorrow from the P&S…but I have to admit, the DSLR is soooooooooo much more fun.
