Get A Reborn, Baby!
July 29, 2008
From reborn-baby.com. Yes, this is a highly realistic and freaky doll.
So-called Reborn baby dolls freak me out. Nothing made of plastic (even high-quality plastic) should look that life-like. It’s just unnatural.
Reborn babies are constructed to look like real babies and are popular with doll collectors and uh, others.
Now apparently police have mistaken one of these potential brides for Chucky as a real child and rescued the doll. Yes, it really happened…in Australia. But before you think only those Down Under are whacked out, a woman left her Reborn doll in her hubby’s hot Hummer, and a man broke the vehicle’s window to rescue the baby (full story).
So, yeah, that’s the post for today. Cheers!

I saw something about them on the news. There are actually grown women who buy them for the attention they used to get when their children were babies. They buy car seats, strollers and even take them grocery shopping. Its very weird. They are cute, but I’m not about to travel around with one.
I own a magazine dedicated to the art of reborning, and I am a reborn artist myself. Reborns are simply art…just like sculptures, statues, oil paintings, etc. They start as a vinyl or silicone canvas and they are painted to appear realistic. A reborn artist has to be a talented painter, have a keen eye for realism, and have a great deal of patience to root hairs one at a time to appear real. Most collectors see them as the art that they are, and not as something to gain attention or replace a real child. People collect all kinds of things…dolls, bears, trains, cars…Prince Charles collects toilet seats! I think collecting a work of art is far less strange than collecting toy cars or toilet seats, lol.
im 14 and want a baby but i dont if you see what i mean but i want one of the babys that cry the ones they use in schools do you do them? if not do you no where you get them from?
I have been wanting a reborn for a while. But they are to expensive. And they aren’t creepy. They are good for mothers who can’t have babies. And mothers that lost their babies. So don’t make fun of them. They are real you know.So show some respect.Because what if the sculpters came on here and read your messages how would they feel. They would feel bad.So treat these reborns with respect.
