A Day in the Park
May 5, 2008Sarah had off today and after attending to some usual Monday things, we decided to head out to test our beautiful new Canon camera (which is mostly mine since I’m the one who takes 99% of all photos). I pulled into the Fish Hatchery because trout are always fun…

Look at all ‘dem trout!
I should have purchased some fish food for the little buggers. It’s hilarious watching them flip and flop over each other to get a little pellet of food. When I go next time, I’ll get some video footage of it. All I have are these trout trying to jump into this random stream of water. Some little kid threw a dandelion in with the fish…I’m not sure why…
Sarah took this picture of me when I told her to stop taking pictures of silly things…

Here’s a pic I took of a Dogwood tree blossom…

..and the tree branch…

Then I happened around this male mallard…

Apparently he thought I was pretty cool because he showed me his blue feather (I think that’s a mating pose…I’m not into the inter-species thing though)…

This post is just cute….

Sarah snapped this pic on the way home…

And then Sarah has her picture taken, too.
